While all of our products are handmade there are some slight differences between our handmade and our custom made products. Especially in fit and availability.
Our handmade products are not always ready made. Some things, like clothing, are made to order which means we make them after the order has been placed. This time frame means that your order may take a few days to shim to you. Our handmade garments go through the same quality checks that our custom made items are, but these do not take nearly as long, nor do they require personal fittings.
Our custom made products are similar to our handmade products. They are not ready made and do require longer before shipping. Depending on the custom made item, fittings may be required before the item is complete. Or the item may simply require another process after sewing such as applying embroidery or sublimation to the product. Custom made items are also made specifically to the buyer’s measurements. It is a better fitting item because it is made for the person buying it rather than just to the pattern specifications.
Overall, it is all handmade in the creation, but slight variances exist with each. Fittings, measurements distinctive to the buyer, and any additions required are specific to our custom made items, while just simply sewing the product is the difference with handmade. We are, after all, a handmade boutique with many select choices, but we believe in giving you a handmade custom product that will bring you many years of joy and use.
