I sat down today with my planner for the first time in over a month. I realize that I have gotten so sidetracked by everything going on that I have no clue where to start. Summer will be here soon, and I will be putting everything into growing my business, but at the same time, I am currently drowning in other responsibilities.
I actually got a teaching job. I was super excited. Teaching means more money than what I was making in sales, but at the same time, it meant I have more responsibilities going on with grading, meetings, PLCs, CTMs, IEPs, 504s, PD, and so much more. In fact, my time is spent in so many meetings and classes that I don’t have time for anything else. It’s frustrating, to say the least.
I have missed so many blog posts because I haven’t slowed down.
I haven’t had time to create new products because I’m busy planning lessons.
I haven’t had time to record videos because LIFE has been going on while I’m trying not to drown in responsibilities.
Do I still want to teach? Of course!
Just know that I’m going to start scheduling out my time so that I can balance out my time between teaching, sewing, blogging, and more. It’s just going to take a little time to find the perfect balance because I’ve always been a “by the seat of my pants” kinda gal. Planning and following a plan is not what I’m known for doing.
